Greetings from Asheville, NC / Greenville, SC
Hello all!
I’ve already been lurking around the C&V forum, but I’ll introduce myself now...out of order.
I live in Greenville, SC and work primarily in Asheville, NC (about an hour north) for a solar company.
I’ve been riding bikes on and off for most of my life, and am recently getting into the repair/restoring side of things. So I’m a noob in that regard, but I’ve been picking up on the mechanics fairly quickly.
I have a love for vintage bikes and enjoy learning the history as much as repairing and riding them.
Cheers!

Welcome. I have an old Volkscycle bike hanging in my barn that I often wonder if it’s worth the effort to make road worthy again. It would mean I would need to learn mechanical bike things, so I just keep thinking about it and riding my other bikes. Enjoy your new hobby, and the forum!

You have beautiful mountain biking opportunities out your way, you are lucky. Welcome to Bike forums!
I know, I have a few friends that hit the trails frequently, I haven’t owned a mountain bike since high school. Probably time to diversify.
