Hello!
Hi all!
Been a lurker for a bit, but I joined because I'm looking to make cycling a much bigger part of my life! I'm looking to move to Philadelphia soon, and I want my main mode of transport to be cycling. My experience for most of my life (I'm 24) has been riding a department store mountain bike around town for 15-20 miles per week.
Thusly, I'm looking for my first folding bike that would be suitable for city commuting. I've been scouring these forums, ******, etc. for the past couple days and I'm feeling a bit burnt out from the search. My budget is low and the consensus is that cheap folders aren't worth it out of the box. I like the idea of upgrading though. It feels akin to building your own computer, where the frame is like your motherboard and CPU.
Anyway, thanks for having me! I'm sure to have a lot of fun here!

If any mods are watching, I apologize for not posting my introduction first. Also, I didn't know a certain website that begins with R and sounds like edit was a dirty word, haha

Welcome to Bike Forums.
That website word is censored because in the past we have been inundated with links to spam hosted there.
