Hey Y’all

Hi folks!! Last year for her birthday, my wife told me she wanted us to get bicycles and start riding. As a weightlifter/Crossfit Guy, I was less than enthused, but relented Bc it was her bday. Went to Walmart and got a Huffy cruiser for her and a Schwinn 27.5 MTB for me. A year later, and we are still at it, but realized we needed better bikes. So Saturday we went to our LBS and after lots of research/recommendations, purchased a Sirrus Disc Step-through for her and a Sirrus Sport for me (didn’t have Sirrus Disc in stock, and the CFO said “get it”, so I did) and did a 30 mike ride yesterday on the greenway. Now in the market
for some gloves LOL.

Welcome. Glad you found us and ended up with some comfortable rides. Gloves do make a difference especially the longer the rides.

Biking can become an expensive hobby rather quickly, lol. Good luck out there!

Welcome! Wish I could make my decision that quickly upon visiting LBS. I've been to about 5 so far and still doing internet research, Craigslist searches etc. Should be able to decide in about three years. I live extremely close to work, walking distance if it weren't 95-plus degrees all summer so decided to give bike commuting a try.
