an introduction

I've been reading for a while & would like to share some pictures so I have to get a few posts in first.

For longer rides I usually take my '89 Schwinn Voyageur. It rides great & is almost set up as I want it. I'm missing a handlebar bag, but have the Technomic stem, Nitto B135, & Suntour BarCons.

For around the lake & leisurely rides I take my '75 Raleigh Tourist DL1, or Raleigh Twenty. I have been enjoying 3 speeds & am surprised by their reliability & functionality.

Although I am late to cycling, I have been enjoying it immensely for the past two years. I have learned a lot by reading through quite a few bikeforums threads & by getting my hands dirty servicing my bikes.

I mostly do 10-15 mile rides, but look forward to longer rides. I wanted to do my first century this summer, but I will have to post-pone until next summer due to too many things to get done & plan around.

I'll post pics of my bikes when I have posted enough.

Edit - the bikes:

Hello and welcome to Bike Forums! It's nice to be able to have different bikes for different applications and you have a nice collection there. Have you checked into our Classic and Vintage area? You might like it there.
