Hey Everyone
Yet another newbie posting to say hi & introduce himself... I'm in my mid-30's, married, father, etc. looking to get back on a bike for the first time since I got my drivers license. I'm looking to buy a bike for recreational riding, and possible commuting/touring riding at some point in the future once I get into better shape. I've been debating between buying a new low-end bike from the LBS, or buying an older, sturdier steel frame and upgrading the components over time.
I hope the gurus on the board can help me make a wise purchase in the near future.

Greetings and Salutations
Such a familiar story. It seems we all come back to the bicycle at some point. I just got back into it earlier this year. And I've got two bikes already.
I think my spare tire is getting smaller.
Cheers
