To introduce myself
I am a regular cyclist for commuting, like to ride longer for recreation but only manage to fit in > 15 miles a few times/year (up to ~60 mi on occasion).
I have a relatively old "hybrid" bike: 2004 Specialized Hard Rock.
Once my boys get older (now 6 & 8 yo), I'd like to get more serious with bikes & biking, but am happy enough now to get what exercise I can & enjoy the outdoors.
A friend & colleague (Mike Wall, U-Iowa) recommended this forum when I had some questions re: parts to keep my current bike going ... so I thought, why not join?

Hi Everyone,
Thanks to the Admin who let me joined this forum.
I am not a regular cyclist �� but age around 60 want to begin cycling for exercise and to see all those Trails and Falls of Hamilton where I have migrated 2 yrs back . A query about a bicycle brand and model brought me to this forum by Google. Hope I will learn the rules of forum quickly and enjoy this forum.
