Hi from PEI Canada

Hi from Prince Edward Island, I'm a long time lover of everything bike, now in my 50's but still ride whenever I can. I have 3 bikes at the moment, a cheap 26" MTB I bought years ago with many mods and finally converted to single speed that I use when I want to go off road. A GT Aggressor Sport that I use on the road and trails, and a SUB (stand up bike) that I just built that I use on the trails only.

Nice to see more mature riders out there. I'm 41 here, from Ontario, Canada and riding a BMX converted to fixie.

Are there many riders in PEI?

Yes, quite a few MTB tracks and trails around, Brookvale probably the biggest, skiing in the winter and downhill/gravity trails in the summer. 400kms+ of cycle trails helps as well.

Welcome. My family is from PEI. I spent a lot of time up there as a kid. I imagine it would be a great place to road bike.

Welcome. You live and ride in a beautiful place. I’m envious.
