Greetings from Connecticut

Hi, I'm John and live in Connecticut U.S.A

I'm 62 and just started riding again last year, more or less out of necessity from not having my car on the road, using my bike for grocery shopping. Now I not only ride for groceries but also enjoyment, and fitness.
I was given a free and very good bike from the town recycle that was headed for the dumpster; a Pacific 26" mountain bike with 21 speed and trigger shifters.

Being that I'm 6'4' I decided to order a new bike from Bikes Direct.
My new bike is the Windsor Dover 2 Hybrid Comfort bike which came in a 22" frame.

I was a Semi Truck driver, owning my own truck back in the late 80's and driving cross country as an owner operator. Being I enjoy going places and meeting people it was a good time in my life.

My hobbies are tinkering, and vegetable gardening.

I hope someday to move to Tennessee, my favorite state, and I've been to 45 others.
