Hi! Another New Member

Hello! Thanks everyone! I've already gotten lots of great info lurking through the posts. The decision to restore a French 10 speed from the 70's led me here to get some wisdom and maybe a few obscure parts. I'm in southern California but originally from Tennessee where I put thousands of road trip and college town miles on the bike I hope to have back on the road soon. Other bike is a 98 Trek 6000 MTB with smooth road tires that I've kept in good shape that helps keep me in good shape. Thanks! Medium Size Dog.

Welcome.
Despite having below average "mechanical" abilities I've managed to bring back to life a Peugeot PX-50 from the 60's, I'm sure you will manage! :-)

Hi! Another New Member

Hi Sledgefisher and Ineves. Welcome to other new members. Tracking down info led me to find a major manufacturer, Manufrance not only labeled St. Etienne, but many 70's bike boom distributors with foil stickers. Mine was CDI for Curry Distributing Inc. An entry to mid-level bike that I dressed up with higher grade components to make what I thought was a pretty cool and definitely more dependable bike at the time. Rebuild is coming along nicely and I will post photos when I can. Thanks!
