Hi, Hello, and Salutations (I suppose Bonjour and Salute, too?)) from Ontario, Canada

I like bikes and camera lenses, especially vintage ones. I also like working on said bikes and lenses. I have a collection of Soviet lenses (that I got cheaply) and vintage road bikes (that I got not nearly as cheaply). I also habitually to take photos of my bikes from the NDS.

My bikes are:

2016 Orbea MX20 with Deore drivetrain and SLX hubs laced to WTB Kom rims (Kom Light with Sapim Race NDS and D-Light DS on the front, KOM Tough with Sapim Strong DS and Sapim D-Light NDS Rear)

1976 Kuwahara Apollo MKIII (just got stolen, R.I.P.) with Sugino Maxy (5-bolt version) cranks, SunTour SL front derailleur, oddball SunTour VT Luxe rear derailleur (it has a pulley cage identical to the ones found on SunTour VX S derailleurs, for some reason), unknown SunTour DT friction shifter, Dia Compe quick-release brake levers with CLB "Racer" centre-pull brakes, 2L2T front wheel with Sun Ringle CR-18 rims and generic low flange front hub, and a silver Mavic a119 rim laces to respaced generic low flange rear hub (32 spokes).

1975 Sekine SHT made from Tange Champian tubing and equipped with Shimano Crane (DB-100 first style) rear derailleur, first-gen Dura-Ace front derailleur, cranks (the stock SR-Royal one is very untrue), and brake levers, Shimano Fingertips DT shifter, Shimano Tourney centre-pull brakes (the ones that look identical to the Dura-Ace branded ones), Sakae Ringyo 100mm stem, SR Royal Seatpost mated with a Brooks C15 Organic Light (the stock Tokyo Belt one is a disgrace, the stock Fujitsu seamless saddle is cracking), SR Custom "Road Champion" drop bars (36cm, I think), MKS Sylvan Touring Pedals, IRD QB-55 BB (the stock SR Royal one is still in near-mint condition), Pacenti rims and Panaracer Gravelking slick TLC tires, high flange Campy Record 28H front hub (Sapim Laser spokes, 2X), high flange 32H SunXCD 120mm rear freehub (Sapim Laser NDS, Sapim Race DS), and a 7 Speed Alivio cassette depopulated to 6 speed (the stock Shimano hubs, gold freewheel and Araya rims are still in usable condition). Yup, that's freehub, a sealed BB and tubless goodness on a 1975 road bike without looking too out of place.

Red Sekine SHS (planned upgrade from Shimano Titilist group and Tourney brakes to Suntour VX group, red label Dia Compe 610 brakes, Sugino Mighty Competition crankset with red dust caps, and SunTour cartridge bearing hubs to replace my Apollo as the JEX bike)

I am not using the stock wheels from my Sekines, no matter the condition they are in, as I don't trust hookless alloy rims from the mid-1970s.

My photos are too large for this site
