Hello!

Hello All from sunny socal,

I've been a recent lurker on this bike forum reading about input from other members on vintage bikes and components. I'd like to thank everyone for such a knowledgeable base group. My recent purchase has been an 84 Miyata 912 and Bridgestone 600. One is 54cm while the other 53cm for my wife. I do have to say that riding these vintage bikes is alot smoother than my Cannondale CAAD 8. So far i've stripped the Miyata off most of the components and am addressing rusted rock chips on the frame. Am touching these up with an enamel testors paint though i believe the color is not a complete match. Any advise on a specific color or brand of paint that would match my black with silver frame would be appreciated. Thanks

You should probably start a new post, maybe in classic and vintage section to ask about restoration hints with the paint. Lots of guys doing great work like that on here. I've learned lots just reading through old posts using the search function as well.
