Greetings from Eastern Mass
Hi folks. I have been a long time lurker. Own two primary rides: Mercier Kilo WT single speed, vintage 1980s KHS Turbo with original Shimano 600 Arabesque group set. Main reason I registered was to seek advice with spec'ing out and building steel frame retro looking machine with modern components. Already started getting awesome tips in my thread. Typically I ride 3-4 times a week about 17-18 miles as a workout - Minute Men bike path and Charles River are my go to routes. In post Covid world I will probably ride more as I also commute to work - only 6 miles round trip.

Welcome piefall. Cool bikes you got there! I started with a KHS Flite 100 SS/FG and a Centurion Dave Scott Ironman with Shimano 600 myself. Cheers!

Thank you TMonk! I will probably will be trying to sell the KHS on local CL as it has all original parts with the exception of the saddle. Well, front sprockets and 6 speed freehub are in the box right now ;-)
