Hello from Madrid (SPAIN)

Hello, my name is Fran and I am from Madrid, the capital of Spain. Sorry if my english is not very good. I will do an effort to write properly.

To start with, I would like to say that I have 4 folding bikes (it is a pitty that I can't upload some images as I would like to show you some nice pics).

Me and my wife recently bought two second hand folding bikes. One is boomerang Urban Life PS40 (spanish brand). The other one is a white Dahon Eco 3. I found them for 60 euros each, So I think it has been a good deal.

We have other 2 bikes.
On one hand, we have a "HIBRID PARATROOPER BOSTON 8" I add quotation marks since we bought the non-original frame of the paratrooper model and added good quality components of the Montague Boston model. It has a shimano nexus 8 internal gearbox, metal folding pedals, gurpil hub, etc.

On the other hand, we have a Hoptwon 7 (internal change nexus 7). We are very happy, it has been going very well since it was purchased. This was bought second hand, it was almost new.

Hope I can learn things from other.

Thanks for reading.

Welcome Francus, from one newbie to another.

Don't worry about your English, it's better than my Spanish.

I've had several folding bikes over the years. Very handy when traveling and you can take them along with you.

We currently have two folding ebikes and they're great.

Like you, once I get my10 posts in I'll be posting some photos.

!Bienvenido! We visited Madrid a few years ago, what an amazing city. Felt right at home as a Sacramentan (it's a dry heat).

I fondly remember my time in Spain, too. Spent a couple months bumming around Valencia in the company of some wonderful people.

Gracias!! Yes it is a nice city. In summer very hot, but dry...you dont sweat. So 40º Celsius, is better than 25ºCelsius in a wet place.. On the other hand, now that we are in winter, we are arung 5ºCelsius.. So we can go to skying to the mountains.

Valencia is beautiful. I live in Madrid, but I have a house in Valencia for holidays in a very nice area just in front of a wild beach. And Valencia is also a very good city for cycling as it is very flat.. There are no hills.. Thanks for your kind words.

Hello! Now it is much better. We are under 200 infected per 100,000 people/14 days. March, April and May was so bad.. 3 months with out going to the street..just to buy food. But things, thanks god, are going better. We have the lower number of infection from Europe.
