I don't ride as much as I like. I also have motorcycles that compete for seat time. However, Central Texas allows for year round riding and this past year has allowed for more solo rides.

For sure, as I've aged my riding has migrated more to road riding. I still try to get some trail riding (Smithville) in a couple times per month.

Have you ridden any of the Holey Roller route? that's Bicycle Sport Shop's early spring gravel "race." Starts and ends at Rocky Hill Ranch. it was the last fun thing I did with a group this year before Covid ruined everything. I wish there were more good unpaved road routes around here, but you need to drive 45-90 minutes away from the city to get to that. however, I have some 20+ mile routes around south Austin that are mostly not roads. you just need to know where to look.
