So California here. I was a recreational rider when I was younger. I got around on an old 10 speed and had a few BMX bikes. I picked up a Gary Fisher Advanced MTB in 1993 that I still have. I rode on and off for awhile but then hung it for too many years. I recently dusted it off, tuned it up and started riding again. After a few months of riding again, I decided it was time to get something lighter and easier to ride for long rides.
I initially bought a 2021 Giant Fastroad SL3 and rode it a few weeks. I liked the bike but found myself wishing I had a more tradtional roadbike with low bars to switch postions on longer rides. I returned the Giant and picked up a 2021 Specialized Allez E5 Elite. Good to get back into riding again.
