Hello from North Carolina

I've been riding for around 50 years and wrenching for around 5 years.
I just wanted to get on here to see what everyone else is building and such.

I've been riding around the same length of time as you, but I have only been wrenching a few months, having bought my first bike stand earlier this year. I did manage to build a couple of raised vegetable beds last summer, and I thought about the money I would have saved building that titanium frame into a gravel bike instead of buying the complete bike. I live in Carolina, too, so I try to keep things in perspective. Welcome to the forum.

Bienvenue to Bikefo. Fellow cakalakian here, also been two wheeling for 50+ years.
There is a lot of knowledge on the forum here and although i've been wrenching
since the late 70's, I still find out new information by following the forum.

Dead Grandpa,
Nice to hear from another Carolina fella.
Do you do any bikepacking, or stick to just biking, or what? I've been getting some gear together to try out bikepacking.
I'd like to see how I do with that come spring.
Take care

Welcome Papa C, that is quite a bit of experience! At 34 years old and ~14 years of cycling experience, I see that I have a long way to go
