Recycled intro. 😁
Hello again, after a lengthy absence. It's a very long story, but basically involves the COVID mess, plus some weird complications. 🙄😉
This thread is just to see if I remembered my password, after all this time. It only took 2 tries, so I'm re-claiming my old posting rights. 😁

Welcome back!
Two tries, not bad, I reckon I click the "reset password" button a few times out of impatience when I lose my passwords

Thanks for the friendly welcomes. 🙂 Since I mentioned Covid in my initial post, I thought I'd post again, to say I got my 2nd vaccine today. It looks like I still need a booster, since I'm over 50, lol, but at least now I can ease up on the face mask thing a little. Not TOO much though, this thing's still killing people.😟
Stay healthy, all of youse.

Boy, I barely felt anything yesterday, not even at the injection site. But today, my knees felt like someone was beating on them with a hammer, or at least a very big stick. 😟
I have chronic arthritis, and informed the shot-giver, but it didn't seem to be an issue. I did some reading online this morning, and apparently, they're giving certain arthritis meds to patients with advanced Covid-19, with good results for pain management. 🤔
So apparently, there's a link, but I got on the wrong end of it. 🙄 Oh well, it gives me something to complain about, huh? Besides the weather. 😉

Yep... That arthritic pain can be a booger. Also your recovery time so be careful. It's no surprise that Hydroxycloroquine has been part of treating Covid19 symptoms from the beginning. Of course it's not a cure but well worth taking if you have covid19 symptoms. I have been affected by each of my Covid19 vaccinations but not ore than a few days. Well worth the effort cause I am sure I don't want to get the real infection, or a prolonged infection.
"According to the American College of Rheumatology, hydroxychloroquine (Plaquenil), is a "disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drug (DMARD)," meaning that it helps reduce the pain and swelling that come with arthritis."

Thanks again for the friendly welcomes, all. 🙂
I felt a lot better today, mostly just kinda tired, so I spent some time in the American River, lol. 😁 It got up to 103F the last I checked, which was the middle day of 3 at 100F, so tomorrow will finish that mess up. Next is about a week in the mid 80s, which is just about perfect, in my opinion. 👍
