Hello from Houston, Texas!
New rider here in northwest Houston. I have a Fuji Ace (sport bike line of road bikes) I hope to convert to a commuter bike. I only work about 7 miles from the house and travel through two neighborhoods. No major traffic issues to worry about!
I am also hoping to get the whole family fired up about cycling so we can visit some of these great state and national parks here in Texas!

I am Copperfield. My wife and family have been riding for about a year now. Good luck with your commute. I would love to, but just not possible. It's hard enough to get any ride safely from my house. Maybe we will see you out sometime.

Hi Chris,
I am extremely jealous about your ability to commute to work. I would love to commute but like Bryan it's just not possible - at least without getting run over. I live in the 1960 / 290 area in Northwest Houston.
Have you checked out the Houston Bicycle Club? They have lots of group rides around the Houston area.
