Hello-- I'm Paul. I'd been doing general Google searches to assist me in restoring an 1980 Schwinn Beach Cruiser, and came across this forum website rather frequently. I'm hardly a bike enthusiast but when my brother was going to throw out his old Cruiser-- as neglected as it was-- I just couldn't let him do it. I took it off his hands and am now going to do as basic a restoration as I'm capable of. Since I was able to get good general recommendations here, I thought I'd join.

Welcome and fair warning--getting old bikes back on the road can be habit forming.
