Back to basics
New to the forum. Started riding road bikes nearly 40 years ago, gave it up for 20 years after 2 serious crashes and returned to the road back in 2015. I still ride exclusively on road bikes although I'm tempted to travel outside my lane and try other cycling options. Regrettably there are only so many hours in a day. I enjoy casual group rides and more energetic pace outings the provide a healthy challenge. A couple century rides every season fills out my riding experiences. Being located in New England keeps me on a trainer a few months each year, which is always a mental grind. I know zwift and other options are available but indoor cycling is boring imo. I look forward to reading, posting and gaining some knowledge through this forum.

Getting there.
Thanks for your acknowledgement. Working my way to the minimum threshold so I can post pics as I attempt to perform maintenance on my bike. Want to become a little more self reliant.

You can describe your machine without pics or ask questions. I’m not picking on you, we delete posts like yours frequently. Posting hollow, empty posts to get to 10 so you can post a pic is frowned upon.
