Introducing myself
Hello,
I'm Herb, a retired former touring cyclist, recreational rider, and tandem cyclist. I have never raced or trained to be a competitive or high-performance bicyclist. I have slowed down as I've gotten older and generally ride now for about an hour or two (10 to 25 miles), and am planning to buy a recumbent tricycle so that I don't have to worry about balance. I still follow tandeming, touring, and recreational riding, primarily through printed material. I grew up well before computers and have never fully become comfortable with them, but I'm glad to have found out about the Bike Forums website.
Yesterday I posted several junk posts to get to the magic number of 10 before reading Joe Gardner's advice not to do so, and I apologize for this. No spam intended! -- Herb, Monday night, May 17
