There is a big difference between being "dumb" and being uninformed. None of us were born with an innate ability to pick the right bike the very first time. You might be surprised to learn that some of us make mistakes long after learning the basics of cycling. The good thing is the more you learn, the less you are likely to make an expensive mistake. You can learn a lot at this site.
You are not allowed to post pictures until you have 10 posts and you are only at 3. One recent newby posted his pictures in the gallery here. Then a long time member copied them and posted them for him. The other way is to post a link to the seller that you are buying from so readers can look at your new bike. As a lot of responders will say, "Without a picture it doesn't exist." Maybe not the nicest way for them to say it.

As VegasTriker states above, give us any details or link you can. As it stands, you don't say even what you 'think' it could be, so impossible to assist.

If you bought it with the one pic it must have spoken to you in some way. I've done the same thing. Nobody's business what you paid. Now going forward, give it a good wash & oil and take many close up pics, especially the head badge, serial number, frame details, etc. Until you get your post count up they automatically go into your gallery where we can see them. Strike up a conversation in the Classic & Vintage where they will help.
