hi everyone! my name is elio and reside in california ☀️ recently picked up bicycling and im in love. at the moment i have a basic huffy mountain bike just to get me started as i learn the ropes and learn the mechanics. i’m hoping to get a road bike since i mostly commute. & i love the frame aesthetic. i’m 5’0” so it’s hard to find a second hand road bike.

Stick to it, man! Lots of knowledge on the forums and a lot of snarky, bitter souls. Learn from the wise and pray for the broken!

Have Fun searching for the bike.

Go to a bike shop and get fitted; see what size you are.
In Trek road bikes, you’d probably need a 44 cm frame. The nice thing about this is that you can probably get a second hand bike cheap. It’s a size that maybe a growing kid would have. My 11 year old daughter would ride that size; she’s 4’11”. Maybe find one on the net and have it shipped to your local shop. Welcome, from SE WI. Enjoy your stay! |
