Hello from the California Coast
Who knew a loaner bike at an AirBnB would ignite a long set-aside passion for bicycling. It started out as a way to get back into shape and be kind to my middle-aged knees, but has turned into a real love affair not only for the machines (mainly 70s and 80s steel-framed road bikes), but for the beautiful riding roads and trails around my home near Half Moon Bay, CA. I'm still working on getting my endurance level up to making some real distance rides, but in the mean time, the view from the saddle is amazing.

Welcome.
I used to be near Santa Cruz. Riding north on Hwy1 was always fun. I usually turned around before reaching Half Moon Bay.
'70s & '80s = join us in C&V. Easy on the knees = join us in 50+.
Old bikes are fun.
