Tucson is the perfect of example of a "Car-only" city. Sidewalks are never to be used for anything but justifying a ticket...especially if riding on one denied a motorist the opportunity to kill.

I've been commuting since 1988 when I started college after leaving the military.
Since then I've been averaging over 4000 miles a year on my bike.
Last year when the mini-van needed $2000+ dollars to bring it up to spec we got rid of it.
Since then I've been doing daily shopping on the bike until recently when I managed to score the model-64 bikesatwork.com trailer I've been wanting for a long, long time.

Huh???!!! I was in Tucson visiting my sister and brother-in-law, returned to Newark Airport and nearly choked on the humidity! It has never been hotter and more humid in NY/NJ.


Double Huh???!!! I can't count the number of bike signs and cyclists - there are so many, even in the heat!

Anyway, Mr. Sarcasm, I'm looking for riding companions when I'm visiting my sister...
