Greetings! I went to school in Ithaca and had topo maps taped to my wall. I was fit enough then to search out and ride the steepest roads, of which there are plenty.

Some great riding up there!

Welcome aboard.

I grew up in Rochester and made the ride down to Ithaca a few times. I was young then. Not sure I could handle those finger lakes hills now.

If you ever get up to some multi-day supported tours, one of the best goes right thru your neck of the woods, known as the Bon Ton Roulet, usually a 7 day route thru the finger lakes region, sometimes including Ithaca. Well recommended.
