I've been bitten, can't get enough
Hi everyone, I borrowed my nephews mountain bike last year and cannot get enough of the sport. I live 40 miles southwest of Chicago and have plenty of bike paths/trails to take advantage of. I'm ready to dump the ill-fitting sled that I've been riding and get something a little more comfortable w/ better perfomance. I ride 60% on "easy" trails and 40% on road. I'm hooked and cannot get enough info/learnings from veteran riders, that's why I went in search of a forum.
Glad to be here and can't wait to take in years of knowledge/expertise from the fine folks posting here.

Welcome, Dennis! Well you're at the right place I think I'm sure the MTB, Road, or Mechanics forums can give you a lot of advice on choosing a new bike, depending on just what you're looking for!
