Hi from Tennessee

Just introducing myself. I'm just about to be 19 years old and I just got a new bike for my birthday to take with me to college. I'm excited about riding both on campus and on the great trails I'm hearing are in my area. Came across this site not too long ago and am amazed by the amount of information I've picked up.

Emily

Welcome, from another new Tennessee member. I live in Clarksville and work in Nashville.

Where are you going to school?

Welcome, Emily. Anyone that actually pedals their bike from time to time is considered a friend. Jeff

Hi and welcome. There are a couple of younger riders from Knoxville here... Cryogenic and PWRDby come to mind. I don't know much about the mountain bike riding around but most of the local bike shops can point you in the right direction or hook you up with other riders. Bike Zoo on Kingston Pike would be a starting place. Oh and the third creek bike path winds around a lot of the campus. https://www.ci.knoxville.tn.us/greenways/ is a link to paths and greenways in Knoxville.

Welcome Aboard Emily,

Although I live in TX now, I did live for several years in Ooltewah, TN, which is a little town just N.E. of Chattanooga. It is also where they make Litespeed bikes (or used to anyway). Very pretty place.
