Hello from San Diego
I'm 38 years old and just getting back into cycling after a few years off. The birth of my son kind of put a halt to my extracurricular activities but now that he's older I am starting to get back into shape (I could stand to drop about 20lbs).
Anyway, I'm riding an early 90s Univega I bought when my old 70s Motobecane Le Champion was stolen. The Univega is equipped with Suntour Superbe Pro and Superbe components. I'd like to buy a new road bike but I think I'll just ride this for a while and then when I'm in better shape I'll think about picking up a new road bike.
I had it tuned up and put a new stem on it to move the handlebars back and up a little bit to help improve my comfort on the bike and I replaced the saddle with a Terry Fly saddle which so far seems much more comfortable than my last saddle.
