Welcome m.e.nunu from another Decaturite.

I ride from home (30033) to Stone Mountain most weekends and bike commute to Virginia-Highland area Mon-Fri.

What kind of road bike do you have?
Where do you ride?

I'm also in Atlanta. Duluth to be more specific, not far at all from Decatur.

Maybe I'll see you guys on some Decatur rides.

I forgot to mention that there are dozens and dozens of Atl area members here.

In Atlanta also and just joined the forum this morning. I'm 40, but in pretty good shape and about to make my first bike purchase in 20 years! I'm deciding between the Jamis Coda Sport and Trek 7500 FX. Any thoughts?

I just bought a jamis last friday. I LOVE IT!!!! Its a mountain bike however, but great quality, i just put it to the test this past weekend on the trails at yellow river right after i bought it, and it held up the pace nicely...now i too am looking to buy a road bike, and am leaning towards another jamis, i feel trek is to rushed in there bikes, and does not try to compete, therefore makes them just a lilttle less sturdy, just a personal opnion though.

AtlPirate, for a good deal on a Jamis road bike go to Intown Bicycles and talk to Mike Goodman, the owner. He'll treat you right. I've known Mike for several years and have always been happy with everything I've purchased from him. He works weekends to make sure the weekend customers (busiest days of the week for some reason :o ) get good service and takes off Tuesday and Wednesday. He's also a bike commuter and often we ride together since his house is along my commute route. Feel free to mention that I sent you to see him.

I got my Jamis (see my sig) from him last December. Awesome bike! It survived the accident I had in June better than I did. Only one broken spoke.
