Heya from Philadelphia

Hey, I'm a grad student in Philly and new to the town. Came across this site looking for advice for buying a bike. My poor beloved mountain bike got pilfered on saturday, so now I'm bumbling around the bike market like a noob.

Welcome! What school are you at? I think a few Philadelphia schools have cycling clubs/teams. You should be able to get good advice/information/deals from them.
