Hwy 40 Blue

I live 25 miles west of Denver in the foothills of the Front Range. I own a Bike Friday Pocket Crusoe (new!) and a trusty old Trek hybrid that I wouldn't part with for anything. I ride hills. Big hills. I am 51 and when my knees protest I ride the flats. I'm about to start commuting 22 miles each way, with a 2,800-foot elevation gain (or drop) each way. Well, weather permitting. Bus travel likely part of the way. I cross over many of these forums, from Folders to Commuting to Over 50 to whatever. I look foward to joining the discussion.
