Cyclist in Simi Valley, CA
I've been back into cycling for about 10 years after a 15 year hiatus. I've lost a lot of weight, got into fantastic shape (probably the best in my life) and enjoy cycling more than ever. 
My only regret is that I didn't get back into it earlier. 
Since re-discovering cycling I've been on numerous organized century rides and the California AIDS Ride (now known as AIDS LifeCycle, or ALC) three times. I also volunteer as a training ride leader for ALC. I ride a 2006 Cannondale Carbon Synapse. My "riding stable" includes a 1999 Cannondale R1000, 1996 GT Force and a 1979 Raleigh Grand Prix. I also have a 2003 Giant Boulder SE mountain bike which has become my lunch ride bike along with others at my place of employment.
