Hi from Ft Collins/Loveland
Been lurking here for a long time; just signed up today. I'm a 53 year old former Cat1 (or what used to be called Senior A) who's just been a fitness rider for 25+ years (career change derailed my racing days). I have no aspriration to return to racing; a couple of centuries a year is all I'm good for. I'm usually seen riding a gray Dean or purple Serotta road bike, or a gray 1973 Paramount fixie (owned it since it was new). I'm an unashamed Campy snob (I don't claim it makes me go faster). I do all of my own wrenching and help my friends with same; I worked in bike shops for years and would like to return to it after retirement.
