Hey everyone (from CT)
Been riding my Specialized Stumpjumper FSR for about 3 years now...just recreationally. Looking to get into something more competitive, hoping to try a few MTB races in the coming months.
I have some basic questions about bike modifications (real basic, like what should i start with to improve my bike). Should I post in the mountain bike forum or try searching the archives first? Don't want to get flamed, this is only my second post.
Thanks guys.

First off, welcome. There's a lot of sweet riding in CT.
Second, if you have a specific question, go ahead and do a quick search. If you don't get anything immediately then go ahead and post. If they flame you, that's life. Bad apples and all that
Good luck going into the race scene

And if they flame you unfairly there are enough of us nice types to deal with the flamers.
