Hi from Wisconsin
Hi all; just started this thing called biking about three years ago and now I'm hooked. First bike trip was the BAK and I can't believe it took me so long to do it. My father in law has been across the country twice and has begged me for twenty years to do some states with him, I have never met so many great people in such a short time. Looking forward to getting to know some of you also. I have lots of questions.

Relay this message to your Dad-in law. Crossed twice? Now you are ready for PAC Tour, run by Lon Haldeman out of Sharon, Wisc. Only have 3 weeks of vacation? That is all it takes. How fast dp you have to ride to aviod mosquitos?

Here's another Badger from Beloit. I do road riding with my road and touring bike and just bought a Scott Sub30 to ride around town for fun and errands.

Hello fellow Cheeseheads! I jstarted biking about a year ago in Milwaukee and my wife and I just moved to Dodgeville. When I ride out here sometimes I really miss the flat roads of Milwaukee! But then the views from teh tops of the hills more than make up for it!

Hey rck ... where in SW Wis? I was born and raised in Lancaster. I get back there once in a while but the hills are a real shock to my Chicago legs.

It is paved the whole way with small towns along it. If you locate State Highway 23 on a map, the trail runs along side, but totally separate. I'm less than a mile from it.

I'm not in Wisc, but wanted to say Hi anyway. I would love the opportunity to ride cross country. Maybe when I take a sabbatical.
Peace. Eric |
Wow, looks like we've got almost all parts of the state covered here. I'm in Eau Claire, dreaming of someplace warm. Or at least someplace with no snow on the ground. I admit to being a fair-weather cyclist, so I stick to jogging (the horror!) in the winter, and boy are my shins killing me. Bring on the melt.

Las Vegas via Fond du Lac!

I spend Thanksgiving week in La Crosse every year - does that count? :D (The weather is absolutely wonderful that time of year.)
