Aloha to all my fellow riders! In the peleton I'm known as Khach. I have been riding/racing for 24 years. It all started with a simple ride to gain fitness for skiing. 18 months later I was on the starting line for the 1984 Race Across America. I have never looked back since that day. Cycling is one of the best things that has happened to my life; the positives are countless. I love it so much that I now own a business that I get to cycle and coach people to share my love of cycling.

Since RAAM '84 I have competed in all types of cycling events; road, crit, cyclocross, mtb, and track. I have been fortunate enough to compete in over 500 stages in which I have achieved 3 CA state campionships in road, time trial and cyclocross. I was a member of the 1989 NCL world champions, 1985 Brevet series champion, with my most honored accomplishment - "most inspirational cyclist" in the 1984 RAAM. I also am a certified coach thru the USCF. For those of you that are just getting into cycling please contact me with any questions that you might have and I will do my best to answer them.
