Hello from Grenoble, France

Hi all,

I'm a Brit working for HP in Grenoble, in the heart of the French Alps. I came here with my wife in 1999 when we were unhappy with life in the UK, and said we'd give it a year living in France and go home if we were unhappy. Still here and look set to stay for the forseeable future.

I like cycling, photography and being outside, and I created the Grenoble Cycling Pages when I arrived. I used to race, mostly cyclosportif events and smaller races around the city, and now I'm happy to get into the mountains with friends and take photos.

Happy to say hello on the forum.

Cheers, Russell

I love Grenoble! You are a lucky duck. Enjoy it (and the chartreuse!). I saw a chamonix up in the hills above the city the last time I was there. A good sign, so they say.
