Lots of ohio people here, that's great. I live in Kettering, bicycle commute to Centerville for work, visit family in Dayton and Miami township. I have been commuting since i lived in Bellingham Wa., which is a great place to ride, that was 6 years ago. I went through the Fred Meyer crap bike, a used norco sasquatch that was a little too small for me (19.5 frame 6'3" height) but i loved it. Today i have a 1. giant iguana/extracycle conversion as my main commuter (year round, crappy weather and nice),2. an old raleigh fixed gear,3. a karate monkey 9 speed, 4. a 1974 break-apart peugeot that i am restoring, and 5.a 1980 schwinn le tour, that was made in Chicago, someone i know gave to me. I'll probably sell the schwinn since it is 59 cm in size. I would like to start a bit of trekking on the weekends. I,m 40, and i love bikes!

Hey Garth,
Hello from a fellow newbie (on the board)...The wife and I are probably headed up to Kettering Bike Shop tomorrow or Saturday to check out our LBS and look at some more bikes. I expect soon we'll be riding; if the weather holds sometime this weekend.
