newbie from London UK

Hi
I'm new here- thought I'd see what's going on, on what seems to be mainly a state-side forum

I'm a regular cyclist - and although just turned 40 have been riding regularly since a kid, although not much time to recreate the great holidays I took touring Holland and France when I was a teenager.

I have 5 bikes.
I commute every day in Central London on a Brompton - which I'm on the point of replacing with one of the high-end titanium models.
I also have a Dawes Hybrid and a Gary Fischer Mountain bike (which I bought for my 10year old son - he'll soon be ready for it and I can just about fit it !).
I also have 2 road bikes which I rescued and restored from our local recycling tip (amazing what some people will chuck out) - a 'short wheel base' Peugeot and a 'long wheel base (touring) Raleigh.

Whereabouts in London are you Sennapod? I'm in W4, but seeing as I walk to work the only riding I'm getting is laps of Richmond Park.

I will be in London SE9 next week. I hope to get my grand-daughter to start riding without trainer wheels. I will be borrowing my daughter's Giant Cypress.
