Hi from North Central Indiana

Even though I'm still learning things about my bike (Schwinn Voyager GS) and what it will do and what it doesn't like to do, I'm finding out it challenges me to what I can do. I am working at getting back into some kind of shape after being so out of shape for so long. (I used to weigh 335 but am down to 287 so far, but don't look that heavy) I used to run all the time years ago and would like to do that again. I'm just doing some race walking for now until I loose enough weight (87 more lb) to be able to run the Mini-Marathon next year again here in Indiana. It's been 14 years since I have done that. I think the cycling will help with the fitness and I'm finding out I really like it. Back roads are the only thing I do right now, but I'm having a lot of fun. The wife rides a Voyager GS also and likes it a lot. I'm sure this forum will help me learn things I need to know as time goes on. Anyway, just wanted to say hi.
