New rider in Dover
Hi All! I've been thinking about getting into biking for a while, but a friend in need of a riding partner pushed me over the edge. I thought cycling would also be a great way to cross-train. I consider myself more of a runner (hope I'm not blaspheming). I recently purchased a Raleigh Route 1 flat-bar road bike; so far so good. I'm also considering biking to work, which is about a ten-minute drive in the car. Anyway, hello again.

Sounds cool! As long as your riding a bike...you're a cyclist as well as a runner. The Raliegh sounds nice. I'm thinking of buying a Trek Soho (new type of commuter bike) this Fall for back and forth daily.

Welcome to BF! Check out the Commuting forum. Lots of good info and tons of commuting advice. Commuting's easy when you know how.
