introduction

hi all, my name is john and i live in western washington. bonney lake, a suburb of tacoma. i have been riding for about two years now. i enjoy the rides, as we have some premo trails around here. i have several bikes, nothing special, just fixer uppers. i have learned to do my own repair and tuning, as most of my antique fleet has been old bikes. they are fun to learn on and restore to user condition. i ride a lot on the foothills trail, close to home, and have been getting around to several others. i rode the first leg of the john wayne pioneer trail, from rattle snake lake to hyak, and plan to ride the next leg on friday, hyak to easton. some ausom country to view. well, keep ridin, john

Welcome John and enjoy the forums. I also learned by doing my own repairs but also leaned a lot more on the maintainence section. There's a lot of great helpful people there.

I'm a little further up north than you. It's been a great summer for biking this year hasn't it.

Enjoy the site.
