greetings from northern Indiana
decided this summer that a road bike was WAY cheaper than another trip to the cardiologist. Since July I've logged 250 miles, mostly back and forth to work. Looking forward to seeing what everyone has to say.

Welcome to the forums. Being on the bike has so many benefits. I hope you stick with it, and enjoy it. Where in NWI are you?

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Crashing Sucks!
JOINED FORUM ON 12th, CRASHED HARD 13th ON THE WAY TO WORK. STARTED RAINING ON THE WAY TO WORK. HAD TO CROSS AN OPEN GRATE STEEL BRIDGE. NEVER HAD A CHANCE! BIKE SURVIVED INTACT, HOWEVER,I RECIEVED A CRUSHED BONE IN MY RIGHT HAND, BROKEN WRIST, SPRAINED LEFT THUMB AND ENOUGH ROAD RASH TO COVER A MEXICAN MIDGET! THANK GOD I WEAR A HELMET! PROBABLY WOULD BE A VEGGIE WITHOUT IT. I'LL NEVER LEAVE THE GARAGE WITHOUT ONE AGAIN.
