hi from sf

hey everybody,

i'm a recent transplant to sf from nj. i've been riding my bike to work nearly everyday but it hasn't been too enjoyable. I currently ride a Gary Fisher Hoo koo, and as sweet as it is, it is not that great for the streets of sf. So I recently purchased and old Nishiki Prestige for $40 and am working on converting it to a fixie. So I will be asking for some advice in the SS/Fixie forum.

I would love to hear some great advice from any of you guys and would love to learn some more about the bike culture here in sf.
