Riding is my addiction

My name is John, mid-fifties, been riding a road bike for ~6 years but doing exclusively solo flats. My biggest challenges until recently was wind, that is until I discovered a local Saturday morning club ride. I had never really done hills before, now I'm hooked. Not sure if it's the pain or the challenge that entices me most. I'm still usually the last one up the hill but am determined, and I get stronger every day. We have lots of hills in the Bay Area and some beautiful scenery so you can pick your route. I ride a TREK 2200 and suddenly I've got this uncontrollable urge to upgrade everything, but it's a good basic road bike. But the Polar CS200cad Cycling Computer is my next have to have. See you in the hills...I'll be the one you are flying by

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.
