NY newbie

I've been lurking for a few months and figured I might as well introduce myself =)
I'm from New Rochelle, NY, currently living in White Plains, NY, and i'm a computer geek^H^H^H^Hprogrammer.

I've ridden bikes since I was very young - when I was a teenager I was in to mountain biking, not racing or for exercise, but simply because I loved the satisfaction of finding my way to the top of a trail and the reward of getting to go back down...Unfortunately when I hit college, I stopped riding.

10 years later, I'm back, I've bought a road bike, and I'm totally stoked to be riding again! I've also joined a gym and I've been weight training 2times/week, which feels great, but I've got a lot of work to do endurance wise. So far my longest ride has been only 17miles, but I'm hoping some roller training over the winter will help me start the spring season with a bang!

Anyway, I'm glad to be here, and I've already learned a whole lot just keeping up with the Road Cycling forum.

See ya 'round!

Pffftt..roller training. Go ride on the roads, even in winter. People ski all the time and don't melt. Gives you a good reason to get a winter beater/trainer.

Welcome to BF!
