New SS Rider
Hello all,
I just got started with SS riding here in NYC. It's been a blast and I love it. Since I'm new to all this, I went the cheap route. Got an Azuki Century off eBay. Had the bike tuned, removed all the unnecessary weight (with the exception of the rear hub/freewheel). I love it and it is huge fun to ride - heck, riding in general is fun. The bike is very much still stock.
My bike is way too big for me - 58cm - so now I am in pursuit of a new(er) bike with a smaller frame (52-53cm). I was introduced to this site through a visitor from my blog after posting about knee issues. Hopefully this site will help with solving a lot of questions I have about fitness, health, pros/cons of fixie/ss riding and best frames/complete bikes/components for my next daily rider.
