Finding a balance...

New to the forums, and in the process of finding a balance that (due to work constraints) was previously unavailable to me.

I rode on a club team for a while in college (mostly MTB, but I like spinning long miles down a quiet country road)... well... I'd like TO spin long miles... my previous emplyment made miles rather difficult, contributing to the development of a third tire when compared to my days in college... and I am working on that.

I am also trying to teach myself some of the aspects of wrenching, with a future goal of running a shop (big dream) at some point. I'm also keen to the idea of touring, and am interested in doing some riding in Europe, Canada, Australia, and parts of the Western US... (Then again, I've always dreamed pretty big! )

We can certainly help with learning to wrench and give pointers on touring, but owning a shop, well actually, we do have people who could possibly point out pitfalls for you to avoid!

Take a look around, there's a lot to see. Remember, the search function can be your friend. Some of the information you may wish to peruse could be archived, so it won't show up unless you perform a search.

Welcome to BF!
