I don't know why it took me so long to find this board but here I am!

I started road biking in August and did 2 races in October for kicks, at least I didn't finish last in either. But I've been in the gym and on the trainer regularly over the last 3 months and can't wait to get out this spring (stupid Buffalo weather and lack of light keeping me off the road now).

I'm hoping an upgraded bike and the time I put in at the gym and on the trainer will give me some improved results this year. I'm not worried about winning anything, but starting to be more involved in a race would be nice.

Also this year I'm working on my climbing!

Hello LFB, we're just glad you found us at last. You've probably already figured out where the road racing forum is, etc., but there are some regional forums that are a bit tricky to find. I know that there are a few members from your home, and I think Buffalo would be found in the Northeast regional forum:
